These crispy oven baked sweet potato fries are absolutely addictive. I warned you! They are sweet and salty, crunchy outside but soft inside and they are a tiny bit spicy. Just so good you can’t stop eating them.
This is really something we eat very often, I think at least once a week. Sometimes as fries, other times as wedges or cubes or chips. Such a perfect comfort food, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I mean for the regular potato fries. NO!! Never!
They are super easy to make. Just cut them into desired shape, toss with enough olive oil to coat them evenly, add your spices and bake until they get a bit browned. And just like always you can use whatever spices you fancy here. These fries are great with paprika, cumin, thyme, curry and with my favorite: cinnamon!
Sweet Potato Fries with Homemade Ketchup

1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Peel sweet potatoes and cut them into fry shaped pieces.
2. Toss sweet potatoes with oil and spices. Spread them in a single layer on a baking tray, make sure you don’t overcrowd them. Bake for about 30 minutes, turning a few times. Let them cool before serving for 3-4 minutes. Enjoy!
