All Natural Lavender Lemonade

This beautiful purple lavender lemonade is the best refreshing drink for spring and summer time. It’s the perfect mixture of sweet, flowery and slightly citrusy flavors. And it’s so easy to make!

All Natural Lavender Lemonade

Thanks to stupid tendinitis, I can’t cook or do a lot in the kitchen now (I also type with one hand, kind of annoying). In the last few days my boyfriend cooked for me, which to be honest was pretty cool and comfortable. But I couldn’t keep myself out of the kitchen for too long, so I had to come up with recipes which I can prepare with one hand. Not bad, right? This delicious lemonade is one of them.

All Natural Lavender Lemonade

I love to drink delicious things! I always drink fruit infused water, but if I need something sweeter I go for a lemonade. This one with lavender is so fancy and so super tasty, you will fall in love with it!

      Hey Howie,
this lavender is from my mom’s garden, she drinks it as a tea. But you can surely get some lavender in better supermarkets or health food stores, such as Alnatura too.
I’m living in Bremen now, but I’m often in Berlin too, such a cool city!

Beautiful! My little one pretends to make lemonade in her play kitchen all the time and asked if we could make real lemonade. This looks perfect since it’s also her favorite color!

Evi, these are your most beautiful food photos so far – so clean and airy…
Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait for my lavender to bloom – I spent it during cookie season 😉

I have actually never baked with lavender, but always wanted to try. Do you use fresh or dried lavender?

So sorry to hear about your tendinitus… but lucky you that your boyfriend cooks! YaY Boyfriend! I hope your feeling better soon.

This lemonade sounds so refreshing and delicious! We’ve a lavender farm not too far away and they grow culinary lavender. I’ll have to pick some up next time I there. I bet this tastes amazing! Because of your sipper, I’ve created a new board on Pinterest for nonalcoholic sippers! This is my first pin to it! Lovely, Evi! Thank you!

Hahaha, I’ll check out your new board! Btw you shouldn’t have created a new nonalcoholic board just because of this, it’s also good with vodka or gin 😀

And thank you so much, Traci, I am feeling already better 🙂

Thank you so much, I feel already way better!
Officially tendinitis is the inflammation of a tendon, basically my hand and joints hurt a lot. It usually comes from a repetitive action, for example too much typing in my case. It’s nothing major, but I wasn’t able to move my hand for 1-2-3 weeks or it hurt like hell 😀
At least now I’m gonna be more careful and not sit in front of the computer all day long! 😀

Hey I just wanted to know if the color came natural, when I made my lavender lemonade it came out like a purplish pink color, it’s pretty but I was wondering if the more lavender you use the more purple it gets? I also used honey instead of maple syrup, that sounds so delicious I should def try it!

      Hey Courtney!
Yes, the color came here fully natural. I noticed that the longer you let the lavender infuse, the more purple it gets. But of course you could also use more of it to get a more intense color.
I also experienced a big difference between store-bought dried lavender and the one straight from my mom’s garden. Her dried or fresh lavender gives the best purple color. I also have some lavender on my balcony, but these also make more of a purplish pink drink, then a real purple one. So I guess the color strongly depends on the quality of the lavender too.
If you want to have a deep purple color, you could try to add some natural food coloring for example. Fresh/dried/frozen blueberries, mulberries or blackberries would work fine.
I hope I could help. Let me know if you try the recipe 🙂

How long can this keep in the fridge? A week?

      Hi Jacqueline,
I’d say the lemonade will keep for 3-5 days, maybe even a week.
However the syrup itself (lavender, maple syrup and boiling water) should keep in the fridge for several weeks actually. Then you just need to add the lemon juice, and cold water right before serving.
