Matcha Iced Tea with Cucumber and Mint

This matcha iced tea is the best summer drink ever. It’s slightly sweet, very refreshing and extremely delicious! It’s beautiful and green, super healthy and simple to make.

Matcha Iced Tea with Cucumber and Mint

I am kinda obsessed with cold matcha drinks lately. Cold brew matcha drinks, to sound cooler. Religiously drinking them every morning, that’s my new thing, way better than coffee. This one here is actually more of an idea than a real recipe. Totally customisable and very-very fast. In the mornings I like to shake up some matcha in my cocktail shaker, sometimes with water, sometimes with coconut water, sometimes with sweetener sometimes without, sometimes with mint and sometimes with basil…BANG….I am awake. So good!

I love matcha tea, this looks so refreshing Evi. I would love to make a glass of this and sit outside on my patio in the morning. What a perfect way to start the day.

This drink looks so beautiful and refreshing. It is boiling hot here in England, I am planning on making this tomorrow to cool us down a bit! I have just found your site, lots of inspiration and wonderful photographs, looking forward to trying more recipes. x

Matcha iced tea is such an interesting idea. Indeed, I’ve been thinking of incorporating it in summer drinks. But I would have never though to add cucumbers as well (even though I’ve made cucumber lemonade). Sounds reasonable now. Nicely done!

      Thank you, Ben!
I am drinking so many cold matcha teas nowadays I have tried every possibly variation, but cucumber is definitely one of the bests! Or with mint 😉
