Spicy Mango Tango Smoothie packed with nutrients and vitamins.

Today I will share with you an awesome recipe from Becky‘s new e-book 40 Days of Green Smoothies. This simple, healthy and detoxifying smoothie is made of delicious tropical fruits, spicy ginger and iron-rich spinach. Spicy Mango Tango Smoothie makes a lovely breakfast or a great refreshing post-workout snack.

You might know already that I’m not too crazy about smoothies when it comes for breakfast, however I could never resist a delicious smoothie as an afternoon snack. That’s why I was super excited when my friend Becky released her book 40 Days of Green Smoothies. The book is all about helping you to get more greens in your diet in a really fun and delicious way. The book is extra user-friendly, since it’s broken into weekly plans, plus each week offers awesome tips and shopping lists. So if you are looking for a healthy kickstart for the new year or if you are getting bored of the same boring smoothies you make every morning, then this book is definitely for you.

I never thought of making something with such a kick like ginger will give. This is an awesome idea and I can’t wait to try it! I usually do frozen berries/mango, frozen greens, been pollen, ground flax, pinch of gluten free Oats, vanilla Almond Milk and water to desired thinness. This e-book seems like it might have some great ideas! Also, I already like your pages and subscribe so I guess I’m ahead of the game. Have a great day! 🙂

Yum. That sounds delicious. My favorite smoothie is wild blueberry ginger made with wild blueberries, banana, avocado, fresh ginger, fresh lime juice, and kefir (or any other milk of choice).

My favorite smoothie always has frozen banana in it, to make it super creamy and like nice cream! I like PB or coconut flavors–they’re tied for favorite!

I love smoothies and I add spices in them, as I feel they are even healthier. My favourite must be a vegan banana and summer fruits smoothie.

I rarely have a smoothie for breakfast, and the reason is simple. I’m hungry after like 30 minutes once I’ve had one:) But as a afternoon snack it’s perfect. I do like mango, and mango smoothies, but I’ve never thought of incorporating ginger. Sounds great!

I feel the exact same way, though for me the reason why I don’t like to have smoothies for breakfast is because I hate to have sweet things in the morning 😀
But just as you said, smoothies are amazing afternoon snacks 😉
