The Best Gin and Citrus Cocktail

This gin and citrus cocktail tastes amazingly light and fresh. It’s all natural, slightly sweet and very citrusy. This beautiful drink is just perfect to share with your friends!

The Best Gin and Citrus Cocktail

So it all started with stevia. We found a beautiful little plant at a supermarket and I knew I have to buy it. I’ve never tried fresh stevia before, but I knew it’s pretty sweet. It is! It’s more than just sweet! We could hardly eat a leaf, it was so unbelievable sweet…So it was clear it’s crazy to cook or bake with it. And somehow it was also clear it is going to be amazing in refreshers and cocktails.

The Best Gin and Citrus Cocktail

Gin is probably my favorite alcohol, I love it especially with a lots of citruses, fresh basil and a little sweetener. If you don’t have stevia, you can use 1-2 teaspoon of maple syrup instead. You can also make the drink lighter adding a bit more water, it’s gonna be just so refreshing!

This looks great! Gin is one of my favorites for making cocktails in the spring or summer so I’ll have to try this if I can find some kumquats!

      Thanks, Jessica!
I also didn’t have kumquat yesterday and used oranges instead and it was also delicious that way 😉

To say that this looks refreshing would be an understatement. Your pictures are gorgeous Evi, you really captured the effervescence of the water.

Stevia is crazy sweet, you only need a small piece of the leaf to get a big sugar taste. Pinned!

Wait… stevia is a leaf?! Okay. Mind blown.
Gin is my favourite spirit too. This cocktail looks pretty much perfect.

I was also totally surprised, especially that they sold a large plant for 1€ 😀
