I could really rave about this recipe, but I won’t do, I hope the yellow “brain” pictures or just simply the ingredient list will make you wanna try it. This whole roasted cauliflower is so easy to make, but seems like you spent a lots of time in the kitchen to impress your friends. It could be the main dish on any holiday table, you can slice it so perfectly. It has a yellow, thick, sweet and spicy crust….oh, so good!…
My relationship to brussels sprouts was not always the best. As I remember being a child I really hated this vegetable. You know, those overcooked little balls at the school canteen….so disgusting! Tastes like vomit. Then a few years back I tried them again and realized they taste actually so cool! I still don’t talk about the ones boiled in water, but the roasted ones, with balsamic glaze or with some orange zest. Aaaa……
Oh, how simple and delicious these smashed potatoes are! You boil some potatoes, smash them, then bake and the best side dish is ready. It is everything I want from a (side) dish: potatoes, softness and crispiness at the same time.

It’s already December, Christmas is almost here,and I really started to be excited about it. Just a few weeks, wow, time goes by so fast. I think a lot of presents and probably even more of the Christmas dinner. Having a lots of dinner ideas, I thought of starting a little section, where I show you some of my Christmas recipes. Nothing special, just vegetarian or vegan dishes, which from one hand are festive and special, so not something we eat everyday, but from the other hand things, which don’t take ages to prepare. I surely don’t want to spend all day in the kitchen.

I really felt today eating something orange or red. I needed pumpkin, autumn food, and something what warms me up. It is just so cold, soups are lifesavers for me this time. I had a small pumpkin and a few bell peppers in my fridge so they seemed to be the perfect combination.
